A GERMAN FLORAL ENCRUSTED AND PAINTED PORCELAIN URN WITH LID, OVERGLAZE BLUE AND GILT MARKS, 20TH CENTURY, the bombe vasiform body decorated with sides of nicely modeled blossoming garlands framing painted floral sprays, flanked by scrolling foliate handles and classically draped cherubs, surmounted by a conforming lid enclosing an intricately detailed flowering cluster, raised on a circular socle with bands of stylized rocaille and leafy reading, gilt highlights throughout, underside having blue tinted engraved crowned "S" with double on single crossed lines mark, above circular overglaze gilt, "GERMANY," stamp.
