A GROUP OF TWO ENAMELED LADY'S POCKET WATCHES, consisting of a gold-filled Gustave Dubois, Locle example, the exterior with hand chasing, niello scrolling tendrils, and a portrait of a bride opposed by a blue enameled medallion, no. 15097, diameter: 1 1/2"; and a small example of gilt bronze, .800" silver gilt, with seed pearl mounts, encircling gilt leaf swastika form tendril with green enamel work on one side opposed by an enameled Arabic numeral dial, the case interior marked "Swiss," "K&L," and "Argent Dore," circa 1882-1934, diameter: 1 1/8".
The bride now lacking earring jewel and necklace jewel has some damage, some surface wear, rubbing of gilt, loss of blue enamel, one hand broken and now lacking, unknown working condition. The smaller example has some gilt rubbing, tarnish, the dial has some dust and dirt debris within, general surface wear and patina, unknown working condition. Overall in good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
