A BRUCKMANN & SOHNE 800 STANDARD SILVER AND ETCHED GLASS CLARET JUG, HEILBRONN, GERMANY, CIRCA 1900, the silver mounts in the Rococo Revival style with a flaming urn finial over a squashed pillow form with diamond fields bordered by scrolls over an acanthus leaf border, with scroll thumb latch and etched scroll decoration to the lip, joining the body with a repoussé scroll and trellis collar centered with asymmetrical cartouche form reserves, with a scroll bordered cartouche supporting the lip and addorsed scroll work handle with a trellis and scroll band around the center of the jug, fitted with a clear crystal teardrop form body with etched crosses within a diamond matrix and a band of floral and scroll decoration to the base, the bottom with a twenty-four point cut radiating star, silver stamped (crescent), (moon), "800," (eagle) and with effaced retailers mark. In overall good condition with minor surface scratching to silver mounts, no evidence of chips, nicks,, or cracks to the glass body, however there is heavy scratching to the bottom.
