A GROUP OF FIVE ANTIQUE DIMINUTIVE GILT METAL AND COBALT BLUE GROUND ENAMEL WARES, 19TH/20TH CENTURY, comprising an Italian silver gilt and painted enamel compact case, stamped oval, "800," "6" and "O," the circular hinged lid centering a stylized quatrefoil depicting a musician flutist performing before seated maidens amidst a verdant waterside landscape, within engraved scrolling foliate trim and a gold speckled cobalt marbled border, enclosed by engraved leafy details, opening to a silver gilt interior with mirrored lid and fitted with a powder screen, reversing to an underside of engraved stylized fleur de lys, diameter: 2 3/4"; a pair of miniature painted and cobalt blue marbled silver gilt hand mirrors, possibly Austrian/italian, early 20th century, with a pointed rectangular handle continuing to a circular painted panel depicting a recumbant youth and shepherdess resting beneath tall trees, the other mirror depicting a musician flutist entertaining his seated maiden audience before a meandering stream and tall trees, within a cobalt enameled border and engraved trim, no discernible marks, length: 4 3/4"; a French miniature patch case, of quatre foil form and a hinged lid centering a conforming reserve, painted with a floral bouquet, enclosed by leafy stems on a lavender ground, framed by beaded details on cobalt ground trim, opening to a gilt interior, stamped, "MADE IN FRANCE," suspended from a ring and chains, length: 1 3/4"; a hand painted cobalt ground enamel and engraved gilt metal snuff box, possibly English Battersea, of oval bombe form and a hinged conforming lid centering a colorful floral bouquet, within pearl trim and engraved gilt metal frame, opening to a gilt interior enclosed by similarly decorated sides, unmarked, length: 2 1/2".
