A VIENNESE MINIATURE FAUX JEWELED AND ENAMEL SEDAN CHAIR, LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY, the vertical square form case modeled as an 18th century boxed sedan chair, with colorfully painted sides illustrating courting couples and shepherd maidens in period costumes, set amidst romantic gardens enclosing delicate blossoming vines surrounding oval glass paned windows, surmounted by a similarly detailed cushion shape hinged lid and reticulated heart cast handle, opening to a velvet lined interior and an engraved stylized floret underside, flanked by two engraved metal rods carried by transparent enameled jeweled gilt bronze porters in 18th century style livery.
