A MINIATURE AUSTRIAN STERLING SILVER AND PALE BLUE GUILLOCHÉ MUSICAL CLOCK, STAMPED MARKS, NUMBERED, EARLY 20TH CENTURY, with a rectangular slanted top enclosing painted panels of ribbon tied bows hanging flower filled baskets, above a conforming canopy with frieze centering delicate gilt scrolling foliate details and suspending a circular case housing a pearl tinted guilloché face with gilt Arabic hour numbers and hands, reversing to a hinged door stamped, "317," opening to twin key escapements on the clock mechanism cover, supported by four colonettes on a similarly decorated case plinth bordered by molding, over an engraved radiating frieze detailing fine gilt embellishments, raised on tapering block feet, trimmed throughout in continuous berried laurel vine and stamped with illegible silversmith's oval mark, underside stamped, "317" and "STERLING," "MARQUE DE FABRIQUE" under a triangular three arrowhead disc. Normal surface buildup, polish residue and tarnish throughout. Some small areas of enamel flaking, eagle finial head is slightly bent. Includes two keys and one stamped, "3" reversing to a star.
