A GROUP OF FOUR ROYAL VIENNA STYLE PARCEL GILT COBALT PORCELAIN PIECES, AUSTRIA, MID-LATE 19TH CENTURY, consisting of a near pair of vases, of tapered form, with gilt rims, one with brilliant gilt and the other matte, with white bead jewels, over oval transfer printed portraits of musical ladies, one holding sheet music and the other a harp, within shell and bead stylized frames, raised on circular gilt feet, the bases marked with blue underglaze beehive, incised model number 9220, maroon overglaze stamp with monogram "E.W." within a shield with Vienna banner and "Made in Austria," height: 9 1/4", diameter: 4 /14"; a petite lidded urn on plinth with repeating trefoil and double "C" scroll motfs, centering a hand painted figural scene, raised on a square plinth base, titled at base "Venus und Amor," with blue beehive underglaze mark, height: 8 1/4", diameter: 3 3/4; and a large ewer with beribboned handle ending in a laurel leaf wreath and garland, over a tapered neck, above a cylindrical, tapered body centering an oval medallion portrait of a long haired beauty, ending in lotus form leaves and petals, raised on a tapered circular socle, ending in an octagonal foot, the base marked with a blue underglaze beehive and a green overglaze stamp centering a crown surrounded by "Royal Vienna, Made in Austria," height: 22 3/4", diameter: 8".
Some expected gilt rubbing, loss to relief decoration, and mild soil on interiors, but otherwise in very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
