A GROUP OF SEVENTEEN PIECES OF WHITING MANUFACTURING CO. STERLING SILVER FLATWARE IN THE "LOUIS XV" PATTERN, NEW YORK, NEW YORK, DESIGNED 1891, comprising ten luncheon forks monogrammed to the front of the terminal with a Gothic style "D," originally retailed by Desio Jewelers, Washington, DC; six oyster forks with gilt tines, monogrammed to the front of the terminal with a script "D"; and a teaspoon monogrammed to the front of the terminal with script "FMD," all stamped "W" (with griffin) "STERLING PAT. 1891," total approximate silver weight: 15.82 troy ounces.

Condition

In used condition with surface rubbing, scratching, and wear commensurate with age and use.
