CENDRARS BLAISE: (1887-1961) His real name being Frederic Louis Sauser. Swiss-born French Novelist and Poet. Widely considered the first modernist poet. Cendrars joined the French Foreign Legion during First World War, losing his right arm at the front in 1915. Signed and inscribed book by Cendrars, being a 5 x 6 paperback edition of Blaise Cendrars - Poetes d´aujourd´hui, by Louis Parrot, 260 pages, published by Pierre Seghers Editeurs, Paris, 1948. Signed and inscribed in bold blue ink to the title page `A Jeanne… Tres cordialement Blaise Cendrars´. Overall age wear, with detached pages, and stains to the covers. F £80-100
