The lot features a terrific Lakota Sioux Native American Indian attributed fully beaded sheath with bone handle trade knife. The sheath is made of thick Great American Bison Buffalo hide and shows a typical beaded pattern, colors and stylings of other late 19th Century examples. The piece shows the original tie strap still intact and there are two rows of hand rolled tin jingle cone danglers adorning the front of the sheath. The sheath measures 9.5” L x 3” W. The knife shows a carved bone handle with blacksmith forged style iron blade showing various hammer worked marks. The knife measure 11.75” L.
