For auction in this lot, you can bid on a collection of four early photographs of the Montana Hotel, originating from the early 1900's. Montana Hotel was placed in the heart of downtown Missoula, on Railroad Street, just a short walk to the Kennedy Hotel, and the Missoula Train Depot. The photographs include a broad shot of the front of the hotel, including hotel patrons. Underneath is a shot of kitchen staffers, "Just before dinner. Next is a photograph of the hotel lobby, filled with employees, and patrons alike. Lastly, the collection shows a photo of the Union bar, hosting a group of working men. The Montana Hotel is currently filled by an antique mall, still in the bustling center of historic downtown Missoula. The photographs are housed in a beautiful wooden frame. The frame measures 38 3/4" tall, and 16 7/8" wide.
