A Chinese porcelain plate from the Qing dynasty with a slightly flared lip and shallow draft. Flora-form body with a lobed petal rim radiating outwards. Wide interior surface, with the entire piece uniformly coated in a wash of blue glaze. Each petal is evenly spaced without overlapping, giving a masterful presence to the piece. The clay is fine and exquisite, the glaze smooth, brilliant with a moist appearance, the finish is immaculate.
Mark on base, a six underglaze blue seal script -KaiShu- characters enclosed within double fine ring, Made in The Years of YongZheng Reign Period of Great Qing.
