Stunning Chinese Qing Dynasty painting of two traveling foragers meandering through a rocky outcrop laid onto silk. Hand-painted Chinese seal-script characters, with iron-red seals located on the top, left, and right sides of the image. The leading traveler carries a wicker basket filled with vegetation and a harvesting tool rests upon the shoulder. The following traveler holds a floral bloom in an outstretched hand. A curving pathway weaves through vaulted rock-face where several gnarled pine trees jut forth. Di-gan Rod is firm and true allowing for the scroll to be wrapped easily and transported safely. Very well preserved and presented in a brownish-red palate.
