ASSORTED GLASS ARTICLES, LOT OF 27, including a silvered/mercury curtain pin with engraved bird and foliate decoration, plus a clock pendulum and 21 pins/nails, each with a pressed glass medallion. The latter attributable to Henry Clay Luther, Providence, RI. Second half 19th century. Pins: 2 1/8" to 3 1/2" LOA. Mercury: 4 1/4" LOA, 3 1/4" D.
Undamaged. Some examples having annealing lines, as made.

Provenance: The 65-year collection of Barbara Sisson, Charleston, WV.
Catalogue Note: According to Wilson, Luther was a manufacturer of imitation precious stones, manufactures' supplies, and other materials in glass. Examples of his wares are in the collections of the Henry Ford Museum and the Toledo Museum of Art.
