A Régence ormolu-mounted Boulle marquetry bracket clock
first quarter 18th century,
the ormolu dial fitted with white enamel reserves with blue Roman numerals above an allegorical ormolu plaque,
the striking movement contained within a rectangular case with domed upper part surmounted by a trumpeting angel,
the corners marked with torsos continuing to floral swags,veneered with panels of Boulle marquetry in brass and red tortoise shell forming foliate scrolls,
the whole outlined with ormolu borders,
raised on an associated similarly decorated bracket.
