5-1/4 h x 8-1/2 w x 5-3/4 d inches (13.3 x 21.6 x 14.6 cm)

Case of burled wood with gilt figural lion paw feet, interior with mirrored lid and removable tray housing various sewing implements including various spools, scissors, perfume vial, arrow and quiver needle case, and thimble, lower compartment housing needle case, small coin case, small potpourri book with mirror to interior and handwritten signature Mary Eliza Angela Lewis, urn-form pincushion case, French gold thimble marked with eagle stamp.

Condition

Threaded neck to perfume vial with chip, mirrors with various losses to silvering, one snowflake spool with break, trim to lid with some losses, one paw foot replaced, some crinkling to veneer, bone needle case with crack, with wear commensurate with age and use; lot includes key.
