5 1/2"h., Golden yellow with olive tone, half posted or double dipped, 36 rib broken swirl, rounded body shape referred to as ‘clock face’, sheared lip, open pontil; probably a Midwestern Glass House, c. 1824-30, possibly Gloucester Glass Works, Clementon , N.J.. c. 1817, contained pontil chip tiny patch of interior content stain otherwise sparkling mint; extremely rare color which can dramatically change in the light going from a mustard yellow with an olive tone to a brilliant golden topaz. Around the half –post the shoulders appear to be an opaque golden yellow, this is the result of being exposed to the fire for too long a period, there are also thousands of almost microscopic bubbles that comprise this area; the overall appearance of the flask is instantly special in regard to its color as this bottle is usually found in shades of deep brown and red amber, don’t miss this bottle!


Generally excellent condition with a light interior patch of haze, also a no harm pontil chip mentioned for accuracy, having no cracks, bruises or hairline.
