Patriotic Pewter Ice Cream Molds, one showing the Shield of the United States with stars and stripes, and the other showing an American Flag blowing in the breeze. The Shield measures 4 ¼" (including the protruding hinge) x 3 ½" and is about ¾" thick. The Flag 4" x 3 ½" and is about 1 3/8" thick. The Shield is marked "E & Co., N.Y. 1078" and the Flag just has the number "282" on it, with no maker. They date to the early 20th century. Both are clean and in excellent useable condition should you need some ice cream medallions for your 4th of July Cake!
