Nice 19th century pipe with burl wood bowl, and wood and horn stem. Cap appears to be German silver. There is a note in bowl that states the pipe belonged to John Boyd a Cavalryman probably from NY, and that this pipe came with his other belongings in a leather trunk. 5" bowl and 10" overall. Very Good
