Of robust proportions with shield form back with acanthus leaf crest and scrolled arms supported by shapely cabriole legs with acanthus leaf knees and large scrolled toe over a circular foot. Notice the raised opposing tendril ornamentation on reverse.

Wear and loss to gilt finish, has been repainted and/or gilded over time. Does not retain original upholstery, reupholstered several times over the years.
