Surveying.- Huntar (Alexander) A Treatise, of Weights, Mets and Measures of Scotland, first edition, woodcut armorial device to title, woodcut decorations and initials, diagrams in text, some marginal restoration, trimmed, occasionally touching ruled border and in two places a numerical column in a table, soiled, modern calf, [STC 13993], small 4to, Edinburgh, Printed by John Wreittoun, and are to bee solde at his Buith, et the Nethey-Bowe, 1624.

⁂ Rare, only one copy at auction (1966, $224). 18th century ink annotations and ownership inscriptions of Alexander and James (sometimes Jack) Blackie.
