Vietnamese Ming Dynasty Doucai Glazed Porcelain Haitangzun Vase - This porcelain vase is of Haitangzun form and is elaborately decorated in the doucai style typical of the Chenghua reign. The vase is decorated with a temple garden scene with a Fenghuang (phoenix) and Empress in red, green, blue, and yellow enamels. The base and neck have a blue underglazed double circle and the bottom of the base is left unglazed. This piece will be accompanied by a letter of provenance from the family. Measurements (approximate): 8.5"H x 5.5"H.
