Two 19th century scrapbooks filled with a variety of illustrated plates, stamps, envelopes, etc. Includes bookplates, illustrated printer's devices and initials, title page engravings, illustrated envelopes, miscellaneous illustrations, etc. The majority appear to be from the 18th and 19th centuries, with a few earlier samples as well. One volume is titled in ink on a plate affixed to a page at the front: "A Book of Scraps, Oddly Collected." Both volumes bear the bookplate, dated 1880, of the Hon Gerald Henry Brabazon Ponsonby, son of the fourth Earl of Bessborough and "the possessor of a magnificent collection of ex libris" (Hamilton, p 168) A74-20.
