This two-volume book was issued to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Mayuyama Asian arts and antiques shop by the founder, Matsutaro Mayuyama. The shop was first opened in Beijing in 1906 and then moved to Tokyo in 1916. The principal business of the shop is and always has been the collection and sale of antique Chinese ceramic objects.
