Approx. 135 collotype plates, most from photographs, a few of paintings and screeds; several folding plans/diagrams; tissue guards with captions. 28x28.5 cm (11x15¼"), red cloth stamped in gilt leather spine.



Photographs of the impressive 1915 Japanese Imperial ceremonies for the accession, with many parades on horseback, etc. The chitsu is present, but worn, split into pieces, and incomplete.

Condition

Volume spine rubbed, ends chipped; internally very good or better.
