Place Published: No place
Date Published: c.1910
Illustrated with 14 plates showing how color is added to an image of Mt. Fuji in springtime. 5½x3½, boards, paper cover label, accordion binding. Likely First Edition.
The first page shows the outline block, and the following pages show the successive shading of colors. The left side of each page shows the cumulative effect after each step in the printing. All these blocks are cut from cherry-wood, and the paper is made of the fibers taken from the Kozo, or species of paper mulberry, "to which not a bit of pulp is mixed and is all handmade."
