1840-Dated, Historic Political Printed Sheet Music Titled: “The Harrison Song”, Published by Parker & Ditson, Boston, Fine.
This original, period Sheet Music measures 10” x 13.25”, 4 pages, disbound, on heavy wove paper. The cover has a central Engraving of the 1811 Battle of Tippecanoe. The text reads: “The Harrison Song” on its cover above central image with, “Written by Thomas Power, Esq. and respectfully dedicated to the Whigs of the United States.” below. Light scattered foxing, edge splits at middle right and lower left about 2” long. The central vignette showing General William Henry Harrison leading his troops in a charge, riding upon his white stallion, his sword drawn for combat.
