BRITISH HISTORICAL PERIODICAL VOLUMES, LOT OF FOUR, comprising George Newnes, ed., "The Strand Magazine, Volume XIV: July to December", 1897, George Newnes Ltd., London, blue cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine; and three examples from "The Gentleman's Magazine Library: A Classified Collection of the Chief Contents of "The Gentleman's Magazine" from 1731-1868", the first being George Laurence Gomme, ed., "Topographical History of Warwickshire, Westmoreland, and Wiltshire", 1901, Elliot Stock, London, the second being Gomme, ed., "English Topography, Part XII: Surrey-Sussex", 1900, Elliot Stock, London, and the third being Gomme, ed., "Romano-British Remains: Part II", 1887, Elliot Stock, London, each with brown cloth boards and gilt lettering.
Fair to good condition overall, covers with stains and discoloration, expected wear and minor losses to boards/spines, corners bumped, interiors very legible, with expected toning, some minimal stains or foxing, "Romano-British Remains" example with pencil notations throughout.
