Johnson & Co., Richmond, VA, stated tenth edition, with appendix, engraved portrait frontispiece, impressed blue cloth boards, gilt lettering and decoration.
Fair condition overall, moderate to significant wear to boards/spines, including bumped and frayed corners, some tears to cloth, some with boards separated at joints, Brand example Volume I with spine detached but present, interiors generally very legible, expected toning, some scattered minor staining/foxing, some pen/pencil notations.
