EGYPTIAN HISTORICAL ANTIQUITIES VOLUMES, LOT OF TWO, comprising Edward de Montule, "Travels in Egypt during 1818 and 1819", 1821, printed for Sir Richard Phillips and Co., London, printer G. Sidney, with eleven (11) plates, paper wraps; and Amelia Edwards, "A Thousand Miles up the Nile", 1889, George Routledge and Sons, London, with engraved frontispiece, impressed green cloth boards with gilt lettering, gilt and polychrome decoration.
Very good condition overall, de Montule example with expected toning to wraps, interior with expected toning, some minor foxing/staining, and many dog-eared pages, Edwards example with some discoloration to boards, interior with expected toning, minimal scattered foxing.
