AMERICAN / BRITISH HISTORY VIRGINIA COMPANY VOLUMES, LOT OF FOUR, volumes one through four of "The Records of the Virginia Company of London", edited by Susan Myra Kingsbury, printed by the Library of Congress in 1906, 1933 and 1935. Canvas cloth-covered hardcover volumes.
Very good condition overall, rebound as described, expected wear and some minor tears to covers/boards, particularly to spines, some foxing on edges of pages, interiors generally very clean.
Provenance: From the research library of Ivor Noel Hume, O.B.E., F.S.A., Williamsburg, VA.
Catalogue Note: Ivor Noel Hume (1927-2017), O.B.E. (Order of the British Empire), F.S.A. (Fellow, Society of Antiquaries), was a distinguished scholar, author, and former director of the Department of Archaeological Research at Colonial Williamsburg.
