AMERICAN COLONIAL VIRGINIA VOLUMES, LOT OF TWO, comprising Thomas Fortune Ryan, ed., "The London Company of Virginia", 1908, De Vinne Press, New York/London, number 36 of a limited edition of 300, red leather spine and corners, white cloth boards with lettering and gilt decoration, in slip case; and John Smith, "The Generall Historie of Virginia, New-England and the Summer Isles", 1966, The World Publishing, Cleveland, OH, facsimile edition, impressed parchment wraps with gilt decoration, in original hinged case with Historical Introduction pamphlet by A.L. Rowse.
Very good to excellent condition, Ryan example with some wear to corners and spine, minor toning to interior, with heavier toning to some page edges, slip case with moderate wear and some tears, John Smith example with some wear and discoloration to the hinged case, volume very clean.
