ANTIQUITIES / ANCIENT HISTORY VOLUMES, LOT OF FOUR, comprising C.L. Woolley, et al, "Publications of the Joint Expedition of the British Museum and of the Museum of the University of Pennsylvania to Mesopotamia: Ur Excavations, Volume II, The Royal Cemetery", 1934, published for the British Museum, London, and the University Museum, Philadelphia, two volumes, one being "Text", and having several fold-out plates, the other being "Plates", and having additional plates, each having tan paper boards and red cloth spine with red and black lettering; and Jean-Francois Champollion, "Monuments de L'Egypte et de La Nubie", no date given, Editions de Belles-Lettres, facsimile edition, two volumes, black cloth boards with gilt lettering.
Champollion examples excellent, almost like new, Woolley examples with minor wear to boards, particularly corners, some toning/discoloration, some stains, Volume II with area of loss to upper corner edge of back board, interiors generally very clean, with minor toning as expected.
