Painting measures 23 1/2 x 19 3/4 inches in what appears to be the original 34 x 30 inch gilt frame. There is a label on the frame below the image with the date, title, and artist's name. Alfred Banner was a West Midlands painter who excelled in painting landscapes and everyday genre scenes.
