Pressed bisque socket head, almond-shaped blue paperweight eyes, painted lashes, eyeliner, mauve-blushed eyelids, separately-modelled and applied pierced ears, closed mouth, shaded and accented lips, blonde lambs wool wig over cork pate, Jumeau composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists, wears original couturier Jumeau frock of faille and silk print, original cotton camisole and pantaloons, crocheted stockings, dark red leather shoes, red silk bonnet, holds red Silk parasol with brass dog head handle. Commentary: Superb example of the earliest version of the signature doll; has finest quality pale bisque and delicate facial painting, excellent original body with original coil head attachment, original wig and costume which shows some fading and wear.
