Bisque socket head, blue paperweight eyes, painted lashes, feathered and brushstroked brows, blushed eyelids, closed mouth with modeled detail between shaded and accented lips, pierced ears, antique blonde mohair wig, French wooden and composition jointed body with straight wrists, wears gorgeous pink and pale aqua silk frock with matching fancy bonnet, newer ivory leather shoes. Commentary: Rare bebe with captivating expression, lovely facial detail with superb attention to detail of lips and eyeshadow; early French body with some repaint; beautifully costumed. Few bebes by this firm were made and this is an especially lovely example; albeit with professional restoration to head.
