Figure with Raised Arm - signed lower right; sheet - 22" high x 27.5" wide; mounted behind plastic film, not removed, tapes to mount at all four edges. Figural Grouping - sheet - 37" high x 32" wide, mounted behind plastic film, not removed,taped at all four corners, warping or buckling to sheet. Man in profile - signed and dated 1963 lower right, sight - 25.5" high x 15" wide, two tears along right edge framed behind glass, not examined out of frame, crack to glass at lower right corner. Male torso - sight - 25" high x 19.5" wide; as is with losses along lower edge to mount and sheet, laid down. Abraham Joel Tobias (American, 1913 - 1996) was a painter, muralist, and educator in New York City and the pioneer of shaped canvases in the 1930's.
