For sale in this lot is an original photograph, originating from 1900. The photo depicts a crew of men standing in front of one of Pioneers two hotels. Pioneer saw its height in the 1870's, with a population of about 500 residence; four breweries, six saloons, two hotels, and four general stores. Pioneer sits in the county seat of Powell, saw mining production from the 1860's, till around the 1950's. Now pioneer is nothing but a Montana ghost town. Overall, the photograph shows good condition, and is mounted in a beautiful wooden frame. The frame measures 14 1/2" W x 10 1/2" T.
