Lot 0210
Framed circa 1900 color chromolithographic print features the all seeing eye at the top, with a portrait of Thomas Wildey, founder of the first North American Odd Fellows Lodge, at Baltimore, on April 26, 1819. Surrounding the portrait are vignettes of good works such as visiting the sick, educating the orphan, relieving the distressed and burying the dead. Fraternal symbols appear as well, and there is a place, as yet not filled in, for a name and lodge number. Housed in original oak and gesso frame. Some moisture damage to print, some loss of gesso at bottom of frame. Size approx. 25 3/4" x 32 1/2"
