Franklin Whiting Rogers (1854-1917) American. Still-Life with Loaf of Bread and Glass of Beer. Oil on canvas. 18 x 19 ½ in. Signed lower right: "FW Rogers". Massachusetts artist Franklin W. Rogers studied painting with William Morris Hunt and Joseph Foxcroft Cole in the mid-1870's. In his lifetime he exhibited at the Corcoran Gallery of Art and the Boston Art Club. A rare still-life by this noted American artist.
Condition
Canvas mounted on artist board. Professonally cleaned, very minor inpainting on edge. Excellent condition.
