Rome, Imperial Period, ca. 3rd to 4th century CE. A very heavy bronze seal of a rounded rectangular form with an inscription that presumably identifies an owner of whatever property would have been stamped and the number 8 on the verso. Size: 2.375" L x 1.875" W (6 cm x 4.8 cm)
