One copy each of Le Buffon des Enfants volume I - Les Oiseaux de Chez Nous, volume II - Les Insectes de Chez Nous and volume III - Les Oiseaux Exotiques. Volume II is inscribed on the copyright page "En Hommage Respectueusement sympathique de la Vieille France a la jeune Amerique." and signed "Felix Lorioux 10.1950." The books were a gift to Huguette Clark and are mentioned in one of the three ALS (Autograph Letters, Signed) included, each in French, multiple pages, in their original envelopes addressed to Mrs. Huguette Clark at her Fifth Avenue address, each signed in full by the artist, dated September, October and November 1950.

Notes/Literature: Huguette Marcelle Clark (1906-2011) was an heiress and philanthropist, who became well known again late in life as a recluse, living in a hospital for more than 20 years while her mansions remained empty. She was an accomplished artist and musician, having studied under famous portrait painter Tadeusz Styka, and her paintings were exhibited at the Corcoran Gallery, Washington in 1925
