Alexandria, VA, The Corporation of Alexandria, $6, Proprietary Proof on Card, Superb Gem.
Haxby VA-Not listed. PPRF-R7/8. A wonderful plate design by Bald, Cousland & Co. A great denomination item and very distinctive. Running horses at the top center. Girls with wheat at the left and sailor at the right. Very rare in any form and this is the first proof of this type we have seen from any period. Stamped in black “Property of the American Bank Note Company" on the back of the card. A real beauty.
