Antique French Edme Samson porcelain bowl | Floral motif on a white field with high relief enameled embellishment | Hallmarked on bottom | Good condition, no chips, cracks or repairs | Measures approx. 9" in diameter | Edmé Samson (b Paris, 1810; d Paris, 1891), founder of the ceramics firm Samson, Edmé et Cie (commonly known as Samson Ceramics), was a well known French porcelain and pottery maker.  Made in the late 19th century by the French firm of Samson, Edme et Cie, this is a highly sought after collector's piece.
