SILK LACE AND SATIN COACH PARASOL AND POLISHED COTTON MOURNING BONNET, LOT OF TWO, comprising a black silk ruffled lace and satin folding coach parasol, smooth working mechanism, black wooden handle and tip, 14" L folded; and a black and brown polished cotton sun bonnet with black silk ribbon ties, hat size 22", or 56 cm. Circa 1865. Sizes as described.
Parasol in excellent condition with only one loose stitching at rivet when opened, and evidence of one split in satin top beneath lace, otherwise clean and without damage; bonnet in excellent condition although lacking one tie and the other shattered, otherwise without damage.
