A nice Chimu black-ware vessel in the form of a cherimoya, c. AD 1100 - 1450, ovoid in shape with flattened ends, most of the surfaces covered in spine rounded protrusions, a flared spout at top. 6 1/4 x 6 in (15.9 x 15.2 cm). Well-preserved with light deposits. Ex Malter Galleries, CA.
