A fantastic Vera Cruz articulated figure, Mexico, c. AD 600 - 900, depicted standing, with moveable arms, and wearing an elaborate costume and nude below the waist. He wears a tall wedge-shaped headdress decorated with spirals and a central double-ridge, his features extremely well modeled and he wears ear spools. H: 11 1/2 in (29.2 cm).
