A beautiful seed pot by Roy Tsigowanu and Kwa Povi, with gorgeous incising around the shoulders depicting a landscape, a masked figure and a mythical beast; the deep red-orange slip burnished to a deep glossy finish. 6 x 4 in (15.2 x 10.2 cm). The base is signed Tsigowanu Kwa Povi 8/11/88. Roy Tsigowanu is the son of (Kwa Povi) Tanner, does the etching, while the vessel was thrown by his mother, together forming this lovely pottery vessel.
