Lot 0249
Scarce example of a saw back short sword most likely made in Germany. Cross guard and pommel are silver or nickel plated and the grip is wood. Blade is 15 1/2" long and 1" wide at ricasso. The blade is bright. The leather scabbard is sound, and the stitching has split. The mounts are silver or nickel plated brass. A very nice example of a hard to find sword. Very Good-Excellent
