French Sevres Porcelain Tureen and Under Tray

ca. 1793-1797, decorated with scattered bouquets of flowers, signed with the underglaze blue script Sevres "First Republic" mark, a gilt "Sevres" and "HP" mark on both pieces.
h. 7", w. 14-1/2", d. 11-1/4"

Condition

The underplate has a chip to its rim with a resultant ~1/4" hairline crack. There is a small, well-done repair to the rim of the tureen that has been overpainted and gilded. The rims on the cover and tureen have some small scattered nicks and chips, and rubbing to gilding. In otherwise good condition - condition is commensurate with age, medium and use.
